Why Six Months Ago Was Do Or Die For You As a Realtor in London
Your present results are simply your past actions showing up to collect. The enemy of success is not the market — it is if, when, and someday.
When I ask any Realtor in London, Ontario how they are doing, I already know the answer before they open their mouth.
Not because I am psychic. Because I know what they did — or didn't do — six and twelve months ago. Your present results are simply your past actions showing up to collect.
All acts have consequences. The second and third month of poor prospecting, inconsistent follow-up, and chasing shiny objects make a statement. Your current pipeline is that statement.
The enemy of success is not the market. It is not interest rates, inventory, or the competition. The enemy is three words: if, when, and someday.
If the market improves. When things settle down. Someday I'll get my database organized.
Someday is not a date on any calendar I have ever seen.
The Realtors who are busy right now did not get lucky. They made calls six months ago that felt uncomfortable. They sent the email when they didn't feel like it. They showed up when sitting still felt easier.
Your next six months are being written right now. Today's actions are tomorrow's results. The only question worth asking is whether what you are doing today is something you will be proud of six months from now.
